General information about Quinn Mountain where we always do our best to make your stay memorable in the peace and beauty of the Columbia River Gorge.
RESERVATIONS:
Deposit by check payable to
Quinn Mountain
for
full amount of first night's stay, or 50% of
total if more than 2 nights. Please make check payable to Quinn Mountain. And include full name, current address, and home and cell phone numbers with deposit if current information is not on check. Refund policy: Full refund with 7 days notice; 75% refundable with 1-6 days notice. No refund with less than 12 hr. notice, except full refund if we are snowed in. ;-) Rarely happens, but a possibility. Suite availability: We usually book only one of our two suites on any given night (by choice.) If so, guests arriving mid-day can select their choice of suites upon arrival. Late arrivals: Guests arriving late on cold evenings: We don’t heat unoccupied suites, so before your arrival, we light the fireplace in the Iris Suite only, as most guests prefer it. If you decide to on Rose Suite instead, it may take 20 min. to heat up, so you can relax in the already warm Iris Suite parlor while your suite gets warm. Please request specific information on late check-ins. Check-in: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Please let us know when you plan to arrive, if possible. Early check-in by request. Check-out: 11:00 AM. Late check-out by request. Pet policy: No pets except by prior approval and must be on leash at all times and kenneled at night Younger guests accompanying adults: By prior arrangement Directions: Please request written directions Breakfast: Deluxe continental breakfast delivered to your room or in our dining room. We do our best to fulfill special requests with at least 3 days notice. Other dining options: Fine dining: Skamania Lodge: Luxury resort 15 miles east offering an outstanding NW cuisine buffet on Friday nights and similar buffet on Sundays. Reservations are recommended for buffets. Also, Bonneville Hot Springs Resort at North Bonneville, 10 miles east with full-service restaurant and lounge. Casual dining: Big River Grill, Stevenson, WA is casual, fun, serving excellent NW Bistro cuisine and original vegetarian dishes. Joe’s Del Rio, Stevenson, WA has great Mexican food. Walking Man Brewery is local gathering place serving pub food, indoor and outdoor seating. Nearby country casual: Skamania Store, Skamania, WA is 5 miles east with small café. Washougal Mercantile Store is 3 miles west. Quinn Mountain fare: Each suite has a small refrigerator and coffee/tea maker with fixings, and access to a microwave oven in the common area for light meal preparation. Free popcorn and bottled water supplied. Trails: Excellent hiking/walking trails and other outdoor recreation close by. Google 'Cape Horn Trail' for full info on this spectacular new climbing trail just a short walk from Quinn Mountain. Telephone: Suites no longer have phones as most guests now travel with cell phones. If you cannot get cell reception here, we have a landline you can use. Small fee for long distance calls. Internet access: We are attempting to install high speed Internet access for guests by Summer 2009. If it is not working, we will help guests access the Internet for brief periods on our private system. Entertainment: We do NOT offer TV or DVDs, but there are board games, playing cards, chess, music CDs/CD player, extensive library, giant outdoor checkers, badminton, horseshoes, and more. Smoking: All buildings and grounds at Quinn Mountain are non-smoking. Exception to non-smoking policy: For guests attending weddings at Quinn Mountain, we will make special arrangements for a designated smoking area. |
